As a way of celebrating national occasions in the UAE, a vibrant new campaign was unveiled by Dubai to run between November 3 and December 3. The initiative was launched in collaboration with government and private sector entities in celebration of UAE Flag Day and the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, or UAE National Day. The initiative aims to pay homage to the founders of the Emirates, as led by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, give prominence to the legacy of the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The month-long event will be filled with a kaleidoscope of activities in honor of the country’s history and culture as it celebrates and brings the residents and visitors together in light of the country’s rich history and culture.
Firework displays will be held at JBR Beach, Hatta, and Global Village, in addition to seasonal markets such as Beach Canteen and Winter Wonderland with its Emirati-themed activities, traditional food. Cultural lovers can visit Hatta Heritage Village, Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, and the Al Shindagha Museum for the UAE’s rich heritage through interactive performances and exhibitions. There will also be a special concert by the Firdaus Orchestra performing Emirati national songs with the glow of festivity lights on Al Wasl Plaza and Dubai’s parks. That is going to be celebration for the people of Dubai to never forget.
